It’s quite ridicilous what’s considered feminine or masculine but it’s even more asinine that people think these determinants are from nature, naturalistically. I mean if that was the case why are eyelashes much more pronounced on men? Obviously due to the fact that testosterone is higher in men means men will have more thicker hair overrall than women. But this would mean that it is actually more masculine for a person to have more hair. However, society and hair has a very complex relationship. For example, men are seen as masculine to have body hair but men having long hair is feminine unless it’s in a manly hairstyle. Weirdly enough it’s the complete opposite for women-women are expected more to have long hair and no body hair.
It is also quite intriguing that with men well we have a cheat code with our skin. It’s literally almost every women’s envy how clear our skin is without having to do anything beyond washing it with the same rag we used to wash our balls (Lol jk but I’m sure someone reading this probably does this). Anyway it is why I want to share with you guys that not having a skin routine is nonsensical. It behooves you to do more than just wash your damn face.
It’s imperative that you have a routine that will make sure your skin stays healthy and looks as young as possible for as long as possible. I used to have a skin routine that was just using tea tree oil as a toner, exfoliate with a charcoal cleanser, and then moisturize in the morning then just using tea tree oil in the evening occassionally before bed. However over the years I have expanded my skin routine to practice in the morning and evening. I have also added more steps to my routine.
Currently my routine is now the following:
- Using an exfoliating cleanser and sometimes a cleanser with rose oil water. I’m not sure why women love it but they do and it really does seem to work.
- Then after cleaning my face I use a toner made with hycholoric acid.
- Utilize two to three diffferent serums to keep my skin bright and smooth. It really makes a major difference using this step.
- I then use eye cream and sunscreen.
- Then moisturize my skin with a face cream with rose oil.
For the most part I do everything the same except for the evening I do not use the sunscreen. I also do not use the toner as well except after getting a cut. Besides that everything else is the same except for when I use an adapalene gel-a gel in the tetronin family that is used for treating acne but also has an added benefit in keeping your skin look young. People swearby it as having the fountain of youth. So imagine the benefit of having these masculine (feminine) traits and not using them to our advantage.
So with that being said you still going to walk around here with dirty ass skin?
